Lily Temple
Lily was surrendered by her family when she was 12 year old last April 2024.
She was then fostered by me through VKB.
She went for a dental 2 weeks after being in foster, after having blood tests and unfortunately became blind with SARDS after her dental, an unknown side effect that can happen.
She was already too old to insure, otherwise I would have done that straight away. After she became blind, i of course could not ask someone else to take her and adopt her. I don't want to blame a lack of veterinary care throughout the years, lack of dentals that perhaps lead to her being 12 years old and needed the full works, her kidneys and liver are terrible.
Her vet bills have been numerous, i did not want to ask any financial help from VKB, but the bills have amounted.
She's recently had 3 hospitalisation visits in the past couple of months which has probably cost of over 50K,
Her monthly meds are also expensive:

Plasma lyte drip bag for subcut fluids - 50 ml administered every day

Aluminium Hydroxide Tablets for her kidneys

Fortekar to help with her hypertension

Theothylline - to help open her airways

Eye drops for her recurring eye uclers that have been a nightmare since going blind, trips to the Eye Specialist to have two procedures to remove the ulcers.

Azodyl daily supplement for her kidney support
Prescription diet food - Renal small breed biscuits, renal cat food (she prefers this to the dogs renal option).
Lily's vet bills from Jan 2025 have accumulated to over 80K to date, the below does not include food, accessories etc. Due to the amount of the expenses, for Lily's care and to ensure that her vet care is continued, I do need some help with her bills.
